Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with dental terminology and best practices.
- Utilize dental fabrication techniques and ensure precise dental restorations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continued education and training.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software Eaglesoft.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, including procedures related to pediatrics.
- Experience with oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to perform procedures using aseptic techniques in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages.
