About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and professional Licensed Sales Agent to join our client’s team in Chesterfield, VA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience) commission (50% on new business) bonuses
Location: On site | Chesterfield, VA 23832
Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Responsibilities:
- Developing insurance quotes, delivering sales presentations, and closing new business.
- Growing a strong pipeline through telephone prospecting, referrals, and networking with external centers of influence.
- Responding to client inquiries, resolving concerns, or directing issues to the appropriate resource.
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain long‑term relationships.
- Building strong rapport from a cold start with both prospective and existing clients.
- Meeting or exceeding business production goals and targets set by management.
- Eventually being comfortable with public speaking, representing the agency at events or presenting to small groups when needed.
Licensed P&C Sales Agent Job Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty License required; Life License is a plus.
- 1 years of resent Insurance Sales experience (independent agency experience strongly preferred).
- Strong computer and technology proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor in all interactions—phone, email, and in‑person.
