The ideal candidate is responsible for the leadership and facilitation of culture and key capabilities for the organization as well as securing and maintaining a highly talented, performance-oriented and engaged workforce comprised of the best talent available.
The Human Resources Director will serve as the HR leader for the organization, with a core personal focus on talent management – both as respects internal development and external acquisition. The position also oversees the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies and programs including but not limited to compensation and benefits, talent management and assessment and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Partners with Leaders to build strategies that will engage people in delivering the organization’s vision.
- Serve as a trusted representative of the company by making strategic, ethical, and people-focused decisions that align with and support the organization’s overall goals and best interests.
- Ensures basic HR processes, plans, programs and tools are established and effectively utilized (compensation, employee relations, staffing, performance management, etc.). Applies and tracks key performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of HR services supporting the achievement of business strategy and goals.
- Acts as a coach and trusted business advisor to influence business leaders in leadership, organization effectiveness, change, organization architecture, building capability, and the implications of short and long-term decisions and strategies.
- Develops and drives integrated talent management, development, compensation, and performance management strategies to build internal and external talent pipelines, ensuring a sustainable bench of growing and ready now talent for key positions throughout the organization.
- Lead change management initiatives by thoughtfully evolving existing policies, processes, and cultural practices to support organizational growth, employee engagement, and long-term business objectives
- Designs and implements innovative recognition and rewards strategies and programs that allow the organization to attract and retain the best talent and reward the high performers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, business, or another related field.
- 10 years of experience in different areas of Human Resources.
- Proficiency in basic HR Practice Areas: Talent acquisition and management, compensation & benefits, human capital management, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in Organization Effectiveness Practice Areas: Integrated Talent Strategies, Organization Design, Performance Management, Culture Change, and Team Effectiveness.
- Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a consistent in-office presence five days per week.
- Proficiency in consulting, coaching, strategic solution development, facilitation and design.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills.
- Excellent time management and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
