Associate Attorney, Insurance Litigation
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid 1-2 days in office)
A highly regarded international litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Insurance practice in Oakland! Responsibilities:
- Handle first-party and/or third-party insurance litigation and coverage disputes
- Analyze claims and prepare coverage opinion letters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Manage discovery, depositions, and hearing preparation/attendance
- Work directly with partners and senior attorneys on complex insurance matters
- Gain exposure to sophisticated litigation strategy and client interaction
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in insurance litigation
- Experience with first-party and/or third-party property claims and coverage disputes
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Active California Bar membership required
