Shipping & Receiving Associate
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures that products are received, verified, documented, and shipped in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, promptly documenting and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
- Generate, print, and apply shipping labels while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records through timely data entry into internal systems.
- Review shipping documents, invoices, and logs for accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
- Support general warehouse organization, cleanliness, and inventory management efforts.
- Safely lift, move, and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping & receiving or a related warehouse role.
- Familiarity with major carrier shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL preferred).
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and document handling.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High school diploma or GED required (U.S.-issued only).
- Must reside in Colorado.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Compensation
- $22.00 – $23.00 per hour
