We are seeking a highly driven Major Account Executive (MAE) based in the Shreveport area to spearhead revenue growth by focusing on targeted Large Enterprise and mid-sized business opportunities. This is a unique chance to leverage your consultative sales expertise to position our robust, owned-and-operated fiber network and custom solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As an MAE, your primary focus will be on exceeding revenue targets and driving net new business:
- Net New Business: Exceed revenue targets by value-selling custom fiber solutions and the robust product portfolio to qualified and targeted Large Enterprise prospects.
- Account Management: Manage and cultivate relationships within an assigned base of top existing accounts to ensure retention and revenue growth.
- Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with sales leadership to build an up-market strategy and provide comprehensive account plans for both existing and targeted customers in your region.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a minimum of 5x your target quota in the sales pipeline, utilizing Salesforce to document opportunities, track sales activities, and provide accurate forecasting.
- Solution Selling: Demonstrate a deep understanding of solution selling and business acumen required to sell to all levels of decision-makers, including the C-suite.
- Market Evangelism: Evangelize our unique value in the marketplace by demonstrating deep awareness of the competitive landscape, communicating within your professional network, and building brand awareness in the community.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably within technology or telecommunications industries, with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Exceptional consultative selling skills with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and offer tailored solutions.
- Negotiation: Proficient in leading negotiations, handling objections, and crafting compelling, win-win proposals to ensure timely deal closure.
- Logistics: Valid driverโs license, a safe driving record, and the availability for frequent travel.
- Location: Candidates must be located in reasonable, commutable proximity to the Shreveport, LA job area.
