Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picks up and disposes of litter.
• Performs weeding activities.
• Assists with small construction tasks such as excavating and handling and/or transportation of equipment and materials.
• Performs snow removal, as required.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of grounds maintenance and turf equipment operations.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform grounds maintenance tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
• Ability to work in an environment that involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects over 50 pounds.

Qualifications for this Position:

• Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance.
• Use of personal automobile for local job-related travel and pick-up.
• Neat, clean, and appropriate appearance.
• Meet PRES Criminal Background, prior to employment
• Successful completion of EasyLMS Training Program, upon employment
