Job Type - Full-time

Pay Range - starting out at $26 hourly

Shift and Schedule - Monday - Friday

Experience - Yes experience - no plumbing license required but will need to be capable of running their own work truck and understanding local plumbing codes.

Priority Plumbing Contractors is hiring a Plumber in the Fuquay-Varina/ Angier area. This is a 40 hour-a-week position. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing family-owned company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Install complete plumbing systems, water lines, drain lines, and fixtures in new residential construction.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Ensure all installations meet local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Testing plumbing system for leaks and other problems
• Complies with company policies and procedures, especially safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company truck

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have valid driver license
• Must provide own transportation to the company office.
• Drug free
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships
• Respectful to clients, managers/owners, coworkers, equipment and properties.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually
• Must constantly protect the interests of the company and promote its success.

Physical Capabilities:

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment- pipes, water heaters, toilets, etc.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain the ability to bend/stoop, stretch, kneel, climb, reach above shoulder level as needed.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions, while observing proper safety precautions.
• Being comfortable working in confined spaces.
