Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance to ensure the optimal operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and support continuous production flow.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems - repair air leaks and minor oil leaks, replace water and air hoses, replace hydraulic lines and fittings including making hoses for replacement, etc.
- Responsible for cleaning all machines and secondary equipment.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, basic plumbing repairs, and general building upkeep.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians on more complex maintenance activities, when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED education required. Vocational training preferred.
- 3 years of relative work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Strong communication, analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with limited supervision.
- Able to drive powered industrial trucks required.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
