OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively manage warehouse personnel, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This position is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and promoting continuous improvement while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees all activities in shipping and the warehouse.
- Completes shipping documents including bills of lading and pick-pack forms.
- Provides shipping quotes for customer service and other plant personnel, as needed.
- Responsible for daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventories.
- Works with purchasing to order skids, corrugate, consignment packaging, etc.
- Loads and verifies shipments with bill of lading, packing slip and necessary documents.
- Unloads and receives incoming shipments checking condition and quantity. Makes proper receiving records and delivers material to the proper location.
- Responsible for staging orders and labeling orders for shipment.
- Responsible for UPS orders and sales samples.
- Assists in posting daily orders and receivers in TMM.
- Assists in coordinating all shipments in and out of the plant.
- Coordinates with all departments on shipping/packaging solutions and truck load configurations.
- Files freight claims and assist customers, as needed.
- Responsible for waste removal and recycling for the entire plant.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse and outside grounds.
- Responsible for the supervision of warehouse employees and their related duties.
- Responsible for training all Warehouse Associates and plant forklift training.
- May serve as back up to Plant Scheduler, when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred.
- One to three years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Excellent written and oral communication, computer skills, decision making, and problem solving skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with limited supervision.
- Able to drive powered industrial trucks required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
