The RC lives in the student house and works to assist the Dean of Students in the implementation of College-wide and Student Life Learning Outcomes. Through example, education, and mentoring, an RC encourages students to grow spiritually, in moral courage, and as global thinkers and healers. The RC models spiritual engagement and nurtures a spiritual atmosphere both within the house as well as across campus and is most effective with a deep commitment to Christian Science. RCs also provide essential student well-being support, helping students access appropriate resources on and off campus. All RCs acquire Life Coaching certification to have a common professional skill set that supports our students. Once certified, RCs are promoted to Residential Life Coach (RLC) status and receive an increase in pay. New RCs do not begin Life Coach courses until their second year in the position.
