Summary:
Supervise students and presents lesson plans prepared by lead teacher; work individually and in small groups with students; act as classroom teacher if lead teacher is away; in Preschool and Lower School, substitutes normally take the role of teaching assistant.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active (or pending) membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and/or in a Journal-listed branch church or society of The First Church of Christ, Scientist
- Christian Science class instruction preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree (education degree or certification preferred); classroom experience; ability to work well with children and adults; willingness to turn readily to God for guidance.
