- Customers receive welcoming, professional service throughout the evening.
- Associates understand expectations, remain engaged, and complete assigned work with accountability.
- The store closes safely and completely with accurate cash reconciliation and strong operating controls.
- The sales floor is recovered, replenished, clean, and ready for the next business day.
- Serve as the senior Manager on Duty, set shift priorities, deploy the team, and adjust coverage as traffic changes.
- Coach associates on customer engagement, selling behaviors, productivity, attendance, and conduct.
- Resolve customer concerns and make appropriate service, safety, and operational decisions.
- Lead recovery, replenishment, merchandising, cleaning, and closing routines across the store.
- Complete and enforce cashhandling, deposit, refund, lossprevention, security, and buildingclosing procedures.
- Document results, incidents, staffing concerns, and incomplete work for the General Manager, Stores and opening team.
- Three or more years of retail experience, including supervisory or management responsibility.
- Experience serving as Manager on Duty or independently leading a retail operation.
- Strong customerservice, coaching, communication, organization, and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with cash handling, closing, replenishment, inventory, and store operations.
- Sound judgment in urgent or ambiguous situations, dependable attendance, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the store and regularly lift or move merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Take meaningful ownership of a highly visible university retail location.
- Develop associates while directly influencing sales and customer experience.
- Finish each business day strong and prepare the store for the team that follows.
