Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. This role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily functions and accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in office management, and excellent communication abilities.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable using QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Perform biweekly payroll processing, including PTO tracking.
- Perform data entry, maintain financial records, and reconcile accounts to uphold precise bookkeeping standards.
- Handle front desk duties, including greeting visitors, managing multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both financial documents and administrative records.
- Assist with medical or dental receptionist duties as needed, including patient check-in/out and appointment coordination.
- Previous office experience with a focus on clerical and administrative support in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Proven bookkeeping experience with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office Suite and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Experience in customer service roles demonstrating professional phone etiquette and customer support skills.
- Medical receptionist experience is advantageous for understanding healthcare office workflows, with Epic EMR experience preferred.
