We’re a family-run recycling and metals operation with over 50 years of history and four generations of leadership. From our 11-acre yard, we buy, sell, and process over 100 types of metals in a fast-paced, blue-collar environment.
We’re looking for a Controller who’s ready to step into a high-impact role, owning the numbers, influencing strategy, and working closely with leadership.
What You’ll Own
You won’t just “do accounting”, you’ll help drive the business.
Financial Leadership
- Own the general ledger and full-cycle accounting
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Analysis & Strategy
- Build and analyze trending financial reports
- Identify cost savings and improve margins
- Develop industry-specific and operational insights
Operations & Oversight
- Review AR, AP, and payroll processes
- Manage inventory costing and asset depreciation
- Ensure accurate reconciliation across accounts
External Partnerships & Compliance
- Work directly with owners, banks, auditors, and CPA firm
- Oversee tax filings (federal & state)
- Manage insurance, reporting, and regulatory requirements

- Strong experience with financial statements and full-cycle accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Comfortable in a non-corporate, industrial environment
