CV Resources is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Controller to lead an accounting function in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment. This role will oversee a team and be responsible for financial reporting, global consolidations, inventory and cost accounting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proactive mindset who takes ownership, understands the business, and partners cross-functionally to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage global consolidations across 10 international entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency/FX translation
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee inventory and cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis
- Analyze and report on manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and partner with operations to improve performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and international standards
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls and accounting policies across multiple entities
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership to provide financial insights and decision support
- Lead audit processes, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of required documentation
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and scalability of accounting operations
- Proactively research and stay current on technical accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP & IFRS) and industry trends, applying them to the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing inventory, standard costing, and manufacturing operations accounting
- Strong experience with multi-entity consolidations and foreign exchange (FX)
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS required
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Experience in regulated environments (FDA and/or international compliance) strongly preferred
- Ability to research accounting topics and understand the business/industry, applying practical solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Dynamic, hands-on personality with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
