CV Resources is partnering with a well-established organization in the Los Angeles metro area (Vernon) to identify a strong Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations.
Up to $115k benefits. Onsite 5 days per week in Vernon, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee weekly payroll for 500 employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, with a strong emphasis on Washington State regulations
- Oversee multi-state payroll compliance for out-of-state employees
- Review payroll reports, audits, reconciliations, and tax filings for accuracy
- Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related initiatives and improvements
- Support year-end processing, including W-2s and related reporting
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 7 years of payroll experience,
- Ability to singlehandedly run payroll
- Proven experience managing high-volume payroll (500 employees preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Paylocity
- Multi-state payroll
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and Spanish a PLUS
