The Prince George's County Office of Community Relations is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a Content Specialist (Citizens Services Specialist 3G) grade G21 position, in the 311 Call Center division.
About The Position
This position performs senior-level analytical and operational work supporting content governance, knowledge management, and quality assurance for the PGC311 Call Center. The incumbent is primarily responsible for assisting the Content Manager in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of information contained in Salesforce, the PGC311 knowledge base, and related 311 systems. The position focuses on content review, updates, interagency coordination, data analysis, and quality monitoring to ensure residents receive accurate and consistent information. The incumbent supports training efforts, monitors trends in service requests, identifies information gaps, and works closely with County agencies to ensure that knowledge articles and service request types are current and aligned with County policies and initiatives. The individual in this role is considered essential personnel.

Examples of Work
- Receives calls from the public, determines the type of service or information needed, and enters citizen information into Salesforce, provides the citizen with a case number, and follows up with the citizen, if necessary. These requests may also come through the County’s web-based portal.
- Support the Content Manager in maintaining, auditing, improving, and configuring all PGC311 knowledge base content and service request types within Salesforce.
- Plans, researches, coordinates, and implements special events for public relations projects and exhibition presentations.
- Attends special meetings/events as needed with the Director
- Coordinates with agency representatives to verify service levels, service level agreements, and program changes.
- Participates in meetings related to system enhancements, policy updates, or process improvements.
- Assists in special projects related to system improvements, transparency, and reporting initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications listed below to be eligible for additional consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the social sciences or a closely related field.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in social programs.
