Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fulfillment Operations Coordinator to oversee and coordinate one line orders and warehouse distribution activities.
This role is essential in ensuring efficient order processing, shipping, receiving, and materials handling within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of shipping management systems, ShipStation experience a plus. Shopify Experince a plus.
Duties
- Coordinate daily fulfillment operations including order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes
- Supervise and support fulfillment staff and warehouse operations
- ensuring the labor meets the demand and we have all of the essential supplies for our shipping operation at all times
- Manage inventory control using our CRM
- Oversee the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation for shipments and inventory movements
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and resolve operational issues
- Assist in training new staff on fulfillment operations, safety procedures, and warehouse processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse distribution and logistics
Experience
- Proven experience in shipping & receiving, materials and inventory management
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse supervisor position preferred
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ShipStation, fedex, ups and Shopify
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring heavy lifting and physical stamina
This position offers an opportunity for growth. We’re looking for someone who understands seasonality.
We do most of our business and three months of the year, this is a year around position, but we need someone who will be available on nights and weekends in those three months.
