Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft, 3-ton box truck for pickups and deliveries.
- Load, secure, and transport outbound materials from the warehouse to job sites.
- Offload and stage products at construction sites in accordance with installation requirements.
- Receive, unload, and inventory inbound materials, verifying accuracy against bills of lading.
- Pick up materials from suppliers and return them to the warehouse, ensuring correct documentation.
- Confirm accuracy of all deliveries using company-provided paperwork.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check required
- Ability to read and comprehend safety manuals and procedures required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy required
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality required
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, Word, Excel) strongly preferred
- Industry experience in homebuilding, construction, or similar fields strongly preferred
- This position is based in a fast-paced warehouse setting that may include frequent interruptions, loud noise, and time sensitive deadlines to meet
- Standard warehouse hours apply (Monday through Friday, 6:30AM – 2:30PM), with occasional flexibility required for evenings and weekends as needed
- Tasks require the ability to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. independently and 150 lbs. with assistance.
