Transportation & Infrastructure Associate Attorney (Regulatory / Administrative Law / Public Projects) – 1–4 Years

Compensation: $159,000 – $180,000 bonus
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Have genuine interest in transportation, infrastructure, environmental, or public-sector matters

About The Opportunity
We are working with a law firm seeking a Transportation & Infrastructure Associate Attorney to support a nationally recognized practice advising public transportation agencies, airports, transit authorities, and government entities on high-impact infrastructure matters. This role offers rare cross-practice exposure spanning transportation, environmental, energy, infrastructure, and real estate work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Draft pleadings and filings in judicial and administrative proceedings
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on transportation and infrastructure matters
Draft and negotiate contracts and operating agreements tied to federally funded projects
Work directly with public agencies, airports, transit authorities, and government clients
Support regulatory, transactional, litigation, and infrastructure-related matters across practices
What We’re Looking For
1–4 years of relevant experience OR a completed judicial clerkship
Strong writing, advocacy, and analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple practice areas
Interest in public infrastructure, transportation, and regulatory matters
Nice to Have
Experience before federal transportation agencies (STB, FRA, FTA, FAA, FHWA)
Experience with federally funded infrastructure projects or grant programs
Public-sector or government agency experience
