Our mission is to deliver projects that balance quality,safety, and sustainability while advancing the built environment across San Diego County.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager (Projects Contracts) with strongtechnical, contractual, and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will oversee projectplanning, design coordination, contract management, and construction execution whileensuring every phase meets strict engineering and safety standards required by San Diegojurisdictions.Key Responsibilities:Project Contract ManagementManage multiple residential and commercial projects from pre-construction through final inspection and closeout.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders in compliance with CSLB and California Business Professions Code. Oversee Scopes of Work, budgets, schedules, and performance tracking.Coordinate plan checks, permit applications, and inspections with City and County of San Diego agencies.Supervise and evaluate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for schedule, quality, and contract compliance.Maintain full project documentation — RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, inspection logs, and closeout reports.Engineering Technical OversightReview architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plans for constructability and compliance with San Diego amendments to Title 24.Apply solid understanding of load paths, soil conditions, lateral systems, and seismic detailing.Ensure adherence to stormwater (SWPPP), CALGreen, energy, and environmental design requirements.Oversee concrete testing, rebar inspections, and material verification per structural specifications.Coordinate design revisions and value engineering with architects and structural engineers.Utilize Procore, BIM, and AI-integrated construction software for scheduling, progress tracking, and collaboration.Safety Management ComplianceChampion a zero-incident safety culture across all sites.Enforce Cal/OSHA Safety Orders (Title 8, CCR) and PrimeCore’s internal safety policies.Conduct regular Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks with field personnel.Verify that all workers and subcontractors maintain required PPE, certifications, and safety training.Prepare and maintain Safety Plans, Incident Reports (Forms 300, 300A, 301, and 5020),and inspection records.Work closely with safety officers to monitor compliance with fall protection, trenching,scaffolding, and electrical safety standards.Review site conditions daily to mitigate hazards and prevent unsafe work practices.Business DevelopmentSupport project acquisition by preparing professional proposals and RFP submissions.Build relationships with clients, engineers, and developers to secure future projects.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or relatedfield.Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within California’sconstruction industry.Strong understanding of San Diego permitting, Title 24, Cal/OSHA, and environmentalregulations.Certified in or familiar with OSHA-30, SWPPP, and CPR/First Aid preferred.Proficiency in Procore, BIM, and AI-driven management tools.Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and written communication skills.Compensation:Competitive base salary plus project-based performance bonuses and benefits.How to Apply:Submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience with constructionmanagement, contracts, and safety programs to Primecore.hq@gmail.com with the subject line: Project ManagerCompany DescriptionPrimeCore Construction Services is a licensed California general contractor specializing inresidential and commercial construction, remodeling, and maintenance.
