The role

• Architect and implement core AI systems for knowledge extraction, retrieval, and orchestration.
• Design and optimize retrieval and memory infrastructure (e.g., GraphRAG, vector search) for low-latency, high-precision context delivery.
• Build agentic systems for autonomous reasoning, synthesis, and evaluation.
• Develop prompt and orchestration frameworks connecting multiple models, tools, and data sources.
• Prototype and validate new product directions, collaborating closely with founders and cross-functional teammates.

The experience we seek

• Strong Python engineering skills and experience building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Deep knowledge of retrieval architectures (embeddings, vector DBs, hybrid/graph search).
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
• Proven ability to build and tune LLM-based agents for complex reasoning tasks.
• Startup DNA: thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and move fast.
• Passion for building in the AI space and excitement about joining an early-stage team.

Compensation: DOE, targeting $150-180k
