Compensation Analyst (Contract)- 8 month engagement
• $40–$50/hr
• Hybrid Onsite Tues–Thurs (Seattle, WA) / Location: Pioneer Square, Seattle WA

A large enterprise organization is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support a major HR transformation initiative, including the design and implementation of a new cloud‑based Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong compensation expertise, analytical depth, and experience supporting system‑based compensation cycles.
You’ll partner closely with HR, IT, and implementation teams to design and deliver the Compensation workstream—helping build modern, intuitive tools and processes that elevate the employee experience.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the Compensation Business Analyst within a large HCM implementation program
- Gather, define, and document requirements for compensation processes
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria
- Support design and configuration of compensation planning tools
- Participate in QA and User Acceptance Testing
- Assist with data validation and data conversion activities
- Troubleshoot compensation system issues and support process improvements
- Partner with Change Management on communications, documentation, and training
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of compensation experience
- Hands‑on experience supporting annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, incentives)
- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise HR systems (Decusoft strongly preferred, but similar platforms welcome)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate data, identify issues, and propose solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional documentation
- Experience creating process flows, test plans, and implementation documentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
Highly Desired
- Decusoft implementation or configuration experience
- Experience supporting HR technology projects in large organizations
Contract Details
- 8‑month contract
- $40–$50/hr, depending on experience
- Hybrid onsite: Tuesday–Thursday in Seattle; remote Monday & Friday
- Occasional travel may be required for non‑local candidates
- Benefits: For contract positions, hired candidates will be employed by Prime Team for the duration of the contract period and be eligible for our company benefits. Benefits include medical, dental and vision. Employees are covered at 75%. We offer a 401K after 6 months, we do not provide paid holidays or PTO, sick time is offered in accordance with local laws.
