Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and autism. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that promote positive behavioral changes. You will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the behavioral needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective interventions.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support regarding behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations as needed to assess client needs and inform treatment planning.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for individuals with disabilities.
- Provide training and supervision to direct support staff on best practices in applied behavior analysis.
Skills
- Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and strategies for working with children.
