Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will support the implementation of applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions, assist with patient assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Duties

• Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with developmental disabilities and autism.
• Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.
• Collect, record, and analyze data related to client progress and behavior changes to inform treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate with behavior analysts, special educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records, intake forms, and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in patient care activities such as intake procedures, patient assessments, and behavioral health evaluations.
• Support patient management by assisting with behavioral interventions and monitoring client responses during therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols related to medical records.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods is essential.
• Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities will be considered an asset.
• Background in special education or behavioral health fields is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation practices is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
