Shift Schedule: Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p. No weekends. Off all federal holidays.
How many shifts needed per month: Approx. 20–22 weekday shifts (no weekends/holidays)
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
License: Any state license works (current, active, unrestricted)
Certifications: Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Education: BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program; passed NCLEX
Experience needed: 2 years of strong current acute care experience in Medical Surgical or Procedures area
Special Skills needed: Strong clinical assessment and med/surg nursing skills carried over from an acute care or procedural environment. Skilled in patient triage, medication administration, and assisting with outpatient procedures. Able to work independently in a clinic setting while managing a steady flow of research protocol patients.
Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to outpatients at Clinic OP 11, including assessments, medication administration, specimen collection, and assistance with clinic procedures. Support NIH biomedical research protocols by ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication of patient findings to the care team. Coordinate patient flow and education during weekday clinic hours.
