Site: Four Corners Regional Health Center (Navajo Area, Shiprock Service Unit, IHS)
Location: JCT US Hwy 160 & Navajo Route 35, Red Mesa, AZ 86514
Duration: 1 year contract with the possible 4 Option Periods (6 months each)
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Mon Fri, can vary to 10-hr or 12-hr shifts per facility need. No weekends/holidays.
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 8 weeks (standard)
License: Any state/DC/Puerto Rico/US Territory, current, valid, unrestricted
Certifications: BLS mandatory.
Optional: PALS, NLS, ATCN/TNCC, ACLS
Experience needed: 24 months nursing experience, min. 2 years in Ambulatory or Med-Surg unit
Special Skills needed:

• Basic computer/IT skills
• English fluency (read/speak/write)
• Cultural awareness/sensitivity (American Indian/Alaska Native)
• Willingness to float to other departments (sitter duty, transports, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Outpatient/ambulatory nursing care - assessment, care plans, treatment, patient/family education, documentation
• Chronic disease management (CHF, hypertension, diabetes, infectious/autoimmune disease), pediatric & maternal patients
• Med-Surg inpatient support if floated: admissions, IV starts, lab draws, immunizations, assisting with procedures (lumbar puncture, paracentesis), chaperoning.
