Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: Belcourt, ND
Duration: 12-month contract (with option for extensions)
Start Date: October 2025 (tentative)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), with potential on-call or extended hours

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certification: Active national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
- Licensure: Valid, unrestricted RN and NP license in any U.S. state or territory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as an FNP (within the last 3 years) in a primary care setting.
- Certifications Required:
- (BLS)
- (ACLS)
- (PALS)
- Other: U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass federal background check.
- Conduct patient assessments, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and preventive care measures in accordance with IHS and federal guidelines.
- Manage chronic and acute illnesses, ensuring continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.
- Provide coverage in urgent care or emergency situations as needed.
