Prime Machine is growing, and we're looking for a Quality Manager who is ready to build, lead, and elevate an entire quality organization.

This is not a role focused solely on audits, paperwork, or maintaining certifications.

Prime Machine and Prime Field Service provide precision machining, heavy fabrication, welding, engineering, and field service solutions to critical industries including aerospace, mining, energy, and heavy industrial markets.

As we continue expanding our aerospace capabilities and customer base, quality remains a critical component of our growth strategy.

What You'll Lead

You will oversee and develop an established quality organization that includes:

• Quality Compliance and AS9100 administration
• Metrology and calibration personnel
• Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) activities
• Quality Control Technicians and Inspectors
• Internal and external audit programs
• Continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Do

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop, mentor, and grow the quality team
• Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Operations, Project Management, Engineering, and Production leadership
• Drive effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Reduce non-conformances and the cost of poor quality
• Improve quality metrics, reporting, and departmental performance
• Lead customer, certification, and internal audits
• Support AS9100, ISO 9001, and ASME compliance requirements
• Oversee document control and quality system effectiveness
• Ensure inspection, testing, and verification processes consistently meet customer requirements
• Help shape the future direction of quality at Prime Machine

In your first 12 months, you will:

• Strengthen and develop the quality team
• Improve collaboration between quality and operations
• Reduce recurring quality issues through effective corrective actions
• Enhance quality performance metrics and reporting
• Increase organizational engagement in quality ownership
• Support continued aerospace growth and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing
• Experience leading quality teams and developing personnel
• Experience with audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing inspection processes
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence across departments and build strong working relationships

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality systems
• Precision machining or heavy fabrication
• ASME quality systems and welding programs
• Metrology and calibration management
• Certified Lead Auditor training
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
