Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools sparkling clean.
- Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to identify issues early.
- Conduct routine maintenance on pool systems and equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal operation.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Monitor water chemistry levels regularly and add chemicals as needed to maintain proper pH, chlorine levels, and overall water quality.
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for use or shutdown.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling pool equipment or related machinery.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Prior service technician or maintenance experience preferred; familiarity with pool cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues quickly during inspections.
- Excellent physical stamina; capable of standing, bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
