Responsibilities
The Regional Patient Access Director will assist with the implementation of patient access projects with the objective of meeting business objectives by implementing processes, protocols, policies, solutions, and systems in patient access departments. The Regional Patient Access Director will be responsible for successfully managing projects with interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and achieve performance expectations.
This role can sit out of acquired hospitals in Aurora, Chicago, Des Plaines, Elgin, Evanston, Kankakee, or Joliet. Travel within the region may be required based on business need.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent experience.
2. 3 - 6 years’ experience in Patient Access or Business Office.
3. Experience with EPIC EMR
4. Experience with leading large teams within multi-site acute care hospital environments
5. Experience with all channels of revenue cycle management
Preferred qualifications:
1. Previous Project Manager experience.
2. 5 - 10 years’ experience in Patient Access or Business Office
3. Experience in managing offshore teams.
4. PMP or Revenue Cycle Certification.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $88,400.00 to $128,024.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
