Responsibilities
- Research, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and user interfaces.
- Develop, maintain, and support spatial data systems, including related hardware and software.
- Create and present GIS systems and cartographic mapping elements for internal, marketing, and web-based use.
- Integrate GIS elements with other technologies to support data visualization and communication.
- Convert complex data from records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models, and other source documents into GIS databases.
- Produce maps and provide web-based mapping support for internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain spatial and non-spatial databases.
- Provide technical GIS support to internal users while adhering to established GIS policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data across systems.
Qualifications
- Educational background or certification in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field.
- 0β2 years of professional experience in a GIS or related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with GIS software such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, Integraph, or similar platforms.
- Strong preference for experience with ArcGIS Pro.
- Solid understanding of geographic concepts and spatial data principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of computer systems, database software, and technical applications.
