GIS Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to assist with entering backlog information into our database, including inspection and repair reports. This role involves researching and reviewing documents for quality and accuracy before uploading and scanning them into the database. Previous experience in GIS or drafting is beneficial for understanding the documents being processed.

Responsibilities

• Review GIS records for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct thorough records research.
• Scan and archive data efficiently.
• Perform GIS analysis to support document management.
• Ensure records are traceable, verifiable, and complete (TVC).
• Research historical data and maintain document control.
• Manage documents using the company's document management system.

Essential Skills

• Strong analytical mindset.
• Technical aptitude to comprehend complex documents.
• Proficiency in computer use, especially databases.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in pipeline integrity is preferred.

Work Environment

This is an open-ended, long-term contract with a commitment of at least 2-3 years within this group before exploring other opportunities. The position offers remote work with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be willing to commute to the Owensboro office one day a month for document scanning. The Owensboro office provides a quiet engineering environment with a casual dress code. Once comfortable in the role, there is flexibility regarding arrival and departure times.

This is a Contract position based out of Owensboro, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Owensboro,KY.
