Construction Manager
Location: Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Eligible for a year-end bonus
About the Role
- The Program and Construction Management division is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a major healthcare project at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This role will serve as a key on-site representative, managing construction activities and coordinating closely with the owner, design teams, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile healthcare project within a collaborative, professional environment focused on quality, accountability, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface with the client/owner to understand project scope, objectives, and end-user needs
- Manage and coordinate multiple teams of architects, engineers, and contractors on behalf of the owner
- Oversee contractor compliance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate the work of multiple contractors across active projects
- Provide technical evaluations, guidance, and recommendations
- Manage submittals, requisitions, change orders, and contract correspondence
- Prepare and deliver progress reports and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, not required
- Minimum of 5 years of successful project management experience - Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general building and MEP construction, preferably involving renovations within hospitals or medical facilities - Required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- OSHA 30 certification - Required
- Hospital experience is preferred or at least a general understanding of Hospital or Medical Facility Projects
