The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that include but are not limited to job related knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, location and supervision.
Salary range for this role is between $100,000 - $150,000.
SUMMARY:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality standard results of each construction project from inception to completion so that client expectations are exceeded that affords repeat and new business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountable for a safe and healthy site work environment by upholding compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures and addressing unsafe activities immediately.
- Responsible for involving the appropriate stakeholders in the development of project scopes and objectives that results in the creation of a detailed plan to track progress accurately, allocate resources accordingly and manage scheduling and cost changes effectively.
- Measures performance of each project by using available project documentation systems and tools.
- Maintain successful relationships with clients, owners, architects, subcontractors, internal team and any other stakeholder to achieve repeat and new business opportunities.
- Oversee and direct all activities in relation to contract administration, change orders, schedules, reporting and securing necessary regulatory requirements such as but not limited to permits.
- Collaborate as necessary to ensure all submittals required are received and approved in a timely manner.
- Review design phase documents during the design phase of a project to properly advise on potential changes that may arise within that particular project phase.
- Lead project meetings to ensure coordination of all activities are aligned properly in meeting deadlines and maintain budget expectations.
- Prepare and submit project status reports that outline focused priorities, roadblocks, concerns and opportunities.
- Responsible for leading project close-out and inspection phases that include activities such as but not limited to warranty and manual transfers, final payment preparation documents for subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the internal team on new work opportunities and decisions by participating in the proposals and presentation process.
- Accountable for demonstrating behavioral expectations that reinforces our philosophy of “Together, We Build on Trust” through work performance that exhibits integrity, work ethics and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for performing other duties and tasks as assigned and/or directed.
SUPERVISION:
- Responsible for partnering with project managers to continuously provide training and development opportunities that will enhance skills that create industry leaders, advising on recruiting and retention objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field with a minimum of five (5) years working in the commercial public construction industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- construction projects in excess of $30M from start to finish, required.
- Working with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), preferred.
- Leading, developing and producing experiences talent, required.
Knowledge
- Proficient usage of all Microsoft applications, required.
- Expert with project contract documentation, specifications and cost estimating, required.
- Talented in applying practical application to project documentation and construction software, required.
- Competent with the strategy, operation and financial desired results of a construction project, required.
