Facilities Technician
Shift/Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Job duties:
- Conduct routine building inspections and preventative maintenance tasks across three facilities to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Perform general facility repairs including drywall patching, painting, and hardware adjustments (door handles, locks, shelving).
- Assist with the installation and adjustment of equipment, such as laboratory furniture, piping, and basic electrical components.
- Maintain essential plumbing and HVAC systems, including unclogging drains, replacing fixture components, and changing exhaust fan belts.
- Execute service requests and work orders using building maintenance software while restocking breakroom and restroom supplies to maintain high site standards.
Requirements include:
- 1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance, handiwork, or a related trade (plumbing, electrical, or HVAC).
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for a variety of repair and installation tasks.
- Ability to use building maintenance software or digital ticketing systems to track and report on work orders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage maintenance schedules, inspections (AED/First Aid), and event setups.
- Must be able to work stationary for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
