Accounts Payable Specialist
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $32.00-$35.00/hr
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Experience: At least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties include:
- Full-Cycle AP Management: Handle voucher entry, invoice verification, and weekly payment processing.
- Vendor Records & Compliance: Maintain vendor profiles (including contact and banking details) and collect necessary documentation like W9s.
- Payment Tracking: Monitor and ensure timely vendor payments in alignment with company purchasing policies.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve account discrepancies, and maintain accurate AP aging reports.
- Expense & PO Management: Process expense reports, update vendor/merchant accounts, and review purchase order records to maintain open PO balances.
- Cross-Departmental Communication: Provide routine PO status updates to internal departments.
- Other duties as assigned
Accounts Payable Specialist Preferred Skills include:
- Environment: Prior experience working within a startup or fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements may include:
- Experience: 2 years of dedicated Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
- Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Operations & Execution: High attention to detail, precise data entry skills, and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a dependable work ethic.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must provide 3 professional references
