PrideStaff is partnering with Vend Central, a premier wholesale snack, beverage, and vending distribution company in Halethorpe, MD, to find a dependable Warehouse Associate I to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders according to pick tickets and inventory scanning systems.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Put away incoming stock and rotate inventory using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methods to maintain product quality and fresh dates.
- Shipping & Receiving: Unload trucks, verify incoming shipments, and assist with loading delivery vehicles.
- Material Handling: Move products safely between storage and staging areas using pallet jacks and forklifts (as authorized).
- Facility Maintenance & Audits: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, and assist with periodic inventory audits.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse, distribution, or order-picking experience preferred.
- Equipment & Tech Skills: Experience using RF scanners or handheld devices is a plus; ability to safely operate manual/electric pallet jacks or forklifts (certification is a plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, or reach for extended periods.
- Core Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic organizational skills, and excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Screening: Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
