Warehouse Janitor

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Janitor for a warehouse located in Ontario, CA. Please see job requirements below to be considered. Pay rate: $$17-18Shift: Monday through Friday, 5am to 1:30pmJob Summary: A Warehouse Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse facility, including common areas, restrooms, and storage spaces. This role involves tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, as well as emptying trash and recycling materials. Additionally, the janitor may be responsible for operating cleaning equipment, reporting safety issues, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities; include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintaining Warehouse Cleanliness: Ensuring all areas of the warehouse are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Performing Routine Cleaning Tasks: Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Waste Disposal: Emptying trash cans, bins, and recycling materials according to company guidelines. Restroom and Office Maintenance: Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, and loading docks. Cleaning Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other tools. Safety Reporting: Promptly reporting safety issues to management. Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory of cleaning supplies. Following Schedules: Adhering to cleaning schedules and completing tasks efficiently. Minor Repairs: Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed. Reporting Needs: Notifying management of the need for repairs or maintenance. Requirements:  At least 6 months of recent, relevant janitorial work experiencePhysical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; more than 50 pounds with assistance.Ability to Work Independently: Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Cleaning Supplies and Equipment: Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment. Attention to Detail: Carefully cleaning and maintaining the warehouse environment. Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with management and other staff. The ability to listen and hear to receive instructions speak on the telephone and hear safety/fire alarms.Time Management: Efficiently completing tasks within designated timeframes. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; more than 50 pounds with assistance.Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start.Benefits with PrideStaff:Competitive payComprehensive benefits packageHealth BenefitsPaid Holidays after 1500 hoursCompany DescriptionAs the proud owner and Strategic-Partner of the PrideStaff Ontario office, my goal is to help businesses in my territory and talented job seekers reach their personal and professional goals.
