Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This is a full-time temporary position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.Starting Pay Rate: $23.50Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (mandatory over time with little to no notice is required, may work 12 hour shifts including Saturdays)General Description of Duties:Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties:Inspect incoming loadsCheck shipping documents for correct customer informationOperating propane and electric forklift vehiclesPerform start of shift preventative maintenance inspectionLoad semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished productAssist in inventory cycle counts as neededMaterial preparation and material handlingStaging and packaging finished product for deliveryOther general warehouse duties as neededRequirements:Qualified applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of warehousing and material handling; door hardware experience highly preferred Prior Cherry Picker and Stand-up Reach Forklift experiencePowered lift truck certification highly preferred Strong inventory control and cycling counting experience Must be have experience with verifying shipping documents, BOL's etc. Able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basisMust be highly motivated and a self-starter; Positive outgoing attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual a plus Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to startCompany DescriptionAs the proud owner and Strategic-Partner of the PrideStaff Ontario office, my goal is to help businesses in my territory and talented job seekers reach their personal and professional goals.
