Salary: $23-$25 hourly depending on experienceShift: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift, 7am or 8am start time with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Job OverviewWe are looking for a Purchasing Assistant who is ready to become a key part of our growing team. We're seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Seeking prior experience in accounting, audio/visual, and/or construction industry experience.Key Responsibilities:As an assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our office. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Purchasing Support:· Purchase equipment and coordinate shipping and receiving.· Maintain purchase order logs and assist with submittals.· Ensure the installation team has the necessary equipment and supplies for day-to-day operations. Back-up Office Support:· Greet visitors, answer phones, manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and organize both physical and digital filing systems.· Book travel arrangements for employees.· Handle general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations. Back-up Accounting Support:· Manage accounts payable and support accounts receivable tasks.· Assist with data entry and some accounting support. Qualifications:· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.· Experience: Prior experience in an administrative, purchasing, and accounting support role a must. Skills:· Strong organizational and time-management skills.· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.· Familiarity with general office equipment and computer systems.· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Flexibility: Must be flexible to assist in various departments including the office, purchasing department, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and shipping and receiving.
