PrideStaff is currently seeking a Quality Process Tech for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Hourly Pay Range: $20-$225:00am to 5pm on Alternative work schedule (will send calendar)Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitors Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Database and Quality Control (QC) AlertsAudits of the Retains filing system and Color Standard FoldersPerforms sample collection and testing for standards complianceAudits production paperwork and files as neededTrain production staff on quality control procedures and standardsInvestigation of internal and customer issuesAssist in the monitoring of product quality and food safety to help reduce customer complaints and improve customer satisfactionPerform detailed in-process and final inspections of raw and finished product Record and Analyze test results to either certify or reject specific productsTest product for requested customer Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Certificate of Compliance (COC)Assist in the investigation for a Corrective Action Request (CAR)Perform and maintain calibration documents, identifies gages and instrumentation with correct labels, and maintains inventory of instruments and locationsOther duties, as instructed by Supervisor or Shift LeadReview samples collected for conformance with Quality standards, escalating any concerns to Supervisor for dispositioningSupport supervisors in researching customer complaints and coordinate returnsResponsible for assisting in meeting the plant’s Safety, Food Safety, Production, Quality, and Performance StandardsMaintains the NCR database and issues quality alerts, issues corrective action and preventive actions as necessary and verifies for proper closureDaily Management System (DMS) board metrics, customer complaints and quality alertsAttend daily pre-shift Toolbox meetingsConduct and record quality process audits every two hours and notify the proper personnel immediately when a non-conformance is observed or capturedStandards Of Performance (Metrics)Enforces all plant and department safety rules and performs weekly Safety ObservationsComplies to monthly Behavior Observation Program (BOP) - 2 BOPs per monthInternal NCR Process: Identifying a deviation from quality standards, documenting the issue in detail, analyzing the root cause, defining corrective actions to address the problem, and implementing measures to prevent recurrence, all while maintaining a clear audit trail to track progress and accountabilityEmployee Engagement: Adheres to Safe Quality Food (SQF), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliancePerform and verify equipment calibration per established procedures and frequenciesTimely processing of data, meeting all required deadlinesMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDBasic Computer Skills - Excel, Word, and Outlook (email)Basic Math Skills - including fractions, decimals, and reading a ruler/tape measureMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality control role in an industrial environmentQC lab, calibration and product testing experienceKnowledge of COA’s, COC’s, and standards compliance experience (ISO, SQF, HACCP) Company DescriptionAs the proud owner and Strategic-Partner of the PrideStaff Ontario office, my goal is to help businesses in my territory and talented job seekers reach their personal and professional goals.
