Location: Tualatin, Oregon (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $46.61/hour

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Shift: 8 Hours/Day | 5 Days/Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and federal/state payroll regulations. This role serves as a key liaison between employees, internal stakeholders, and third-party payroll vendors to ensure payroll operations are executed efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ADP Workforce Now, deep payroll compliance knowledge, and proven experience reconciling payroll data across multiple departments and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and efficiently while meeting strict deadlines
• Serve as primary liaison between employees and third-party payroll vendors
• Audit employee pay records and reconcile payroll totals across departments, locations, and business units
• Ensure payroll accurately reflects company-specific pay policies and deductions
• Interpret and apply payroll policies including:
• Vacation and PTO
• Leave of absence (LOA)
• Disability
• Workers’ compensation
• Union agreements
• Tax withholding exemptions
• Government payroll regulations
• Verify compliance with federal and state payroll laws and remain current on regulatory changes
• Coordinate payroll system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements
• Assist with audits, tax filings, workers’ compensation documentation, and internal compliance reviews
• Document payroll processes and procedures
• Train and support payroll team members as needed
• Provide backup support for specialized payroll activities such as stock option processing, SEC-related payroll documentation, and commission review processes

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of payroll processing experience
• 3 years of ADP Workforce Now experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll compliance regulations
• Experience reconciling payroll records across multiple departments/locations
• Strong auditing and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting payroll system upgrades/implementations
• Experience with payroll audits and tax filing support
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
• Experience training payroll staff
