• Continental AM Shift – 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Continental PM Shift – 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• (Occasional weekend work as needed)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery in Oak Creek, WI. This position is responsible for maintaining high-speed production and packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automated systems and is committed to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to minimize production downtime.
• Participate in Kaizen events and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) initiatives.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Complete work orders using CMMS/EAM software.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair motors, pumps, gears, VFDs, safety systems, and related equipment.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational excellence.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
• Knowledge of PLC diagnostics and basic ladder logic programming (Siemens and Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Experience working with gears, pumps, motors, VFDs, and industrial safety systems.
• Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
• Experience using CMMS/EAM software to manage maintenance activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work around industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, reach, and perform physical maintenance activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Travel Requirements

• Travel within North America once or twice per year for training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or bakery operations.
