Junior Financial Controller – Manufacturing Finance

Salary: $52,000 – $68,000 per year bonus

Global Manufacturing Environment

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our Finance & Controlling team within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional with strong analytical skills and a desire to grow into a key controlling position.

The Junior Controller will support financial reporting, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities. Exposure to ERP systems (preferably SAP), as well as knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecasts
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure accuracy and proper documentation aligned with IFRS and GAAP standards

Cost Controlling

• Support cost center reporting across production, logistics, and overhead
• Assist in product costing and standard cost updates
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Collect and analyze financial and operational inputs
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy

ERP & Systems Support

• Use SAP or other ERP systems for reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis
• Support improvements in reporting tools and workflows

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Support internal control processes and financial policies compliance
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or auditing
• Basic understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Internship or working student experience in finance or controlling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to SAP ERP
