We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a highly technical manufacturing and engineering environment in the Tonawanda / Buffalo area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced technical setting and enjoys solving complex facility and equipment challenges while supporting critical operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on facility systems and equipment
• Manage and coordinate the facility maintenance schedule
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal departments and external contractors
• Start up and shut down utility systems including:
• Steam boilers
• Clean steam generators
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces using 5S principles
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance situations when needed
• Support facility upgrades, expansion projects, and construction initiatives
• Assist with:
• Snow removal coordination
• Landscaping support
• Waste management
• Janitorial oversight
• Pest control coordination
• Maintain safe, organized, and compliant work environments

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate 5–6 years related experience

OR

• Associate Degree 4 years related experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with facility systems such as:
• HVAC/R
• Fire alarm systems
• Electrical motors
• Boilers
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
• Chilled water systems
• Plumbing systems
• Electrical wiring practices
• Experience using maintenance software / CMMS systems
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong coordination and communication skills

Preferred Traits

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Available for overtime and flexible shifts as needed
• Comfortable working on-site full-time
• Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain required certifications/licenses)
• Safety-focused and highly dependable

• Bend, reach, and perform physical maintenance tasks
