Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator
Location: Multiple sites across Mt. Pleasant, Charleston & Daniel Island, SC (must be flexible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Onsite)
Dress Code: Aubergine (eggplant) scrubs
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to support a major Go Live project. This role focuses heavily on data transcription from one EHR system to EPIC, requiring strong computer skills and the ability to work at a screen for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Transfer patient demographic and appointment data into EPIC
- Assist with schedule cleanup and backlog data entry
- Support inbound call handling
- Perform patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes
- Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and update records
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Resolve EPIC work queues, billing issues, and charge entry audits
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of healthcare administrative experience
- Experience with EPIC (required) and OnBase (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and computer proficiency
Additional Requirements
- Must be flexible to work across multiple clinic locations
- Comfortable with full-day computer-based work (8 hours/day)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
