Project Document Controller

Russell Tobin is partnering with a top Pharmaceuticals and Biotech company to identify a Project Document Controller (PDC) for an opportunity in Hillsboro, OR.  

The Project Document Controller (PDC) is a key member of the project team responsible for managing and monitoring project documentation while providing operational assistance to the Project Manager.

Document Control (50%):

• Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures for documentation.
• Implement project document management procedures and systems, project document management training and (kick-off) workshops for project management team and/ or contractor.
• Develop and update the Project Document Controls & BIM Plan in CAPEX Projects. BIM Plan development with support from Design Manager.
• Archive files and ensure that all team members have access to necessary documentation and maintains user access.
• Establish and maintain electronic Document Management Workflows
• Set up document status tracking based on milestones with (look ahead and overdue documents) for efficient document management and visibility of planned versus actual document delivery.
• Responsible for document handover to company site repository, ensuring company site standards and requirements are met.

Administrative Support (50%):

• Manage site onboarding process for badging and IT support
• Coordinate visitor access and escort visitors as needed.
• Assign training and track training completion status.
• Manage calendar scheduling and meeting arrangements for the project team.
• Provide general project administrative support and assist the Project Managers with routine operational tasks.
• Typical Minimum Requirements for a PDC

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise in engineering, business administration or equivalent field or work
• 2-5 years’ work experience within document control
• Project Documentation in CAPEX Projects - Client Autodesk Construction Cloud (repository) is the system used.
• Proficiency in using MS-Office applications, Google Suite, and CAPEX document management system.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate would be a self-starter, take notes & highly organized.
• Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, biology, or engineering preferred.

• Location model: Hillsboro, OR
• Contract Duration: 14 Months with potential to extend
• Pay rate: $23.18 – 31.10/Hr.
