Job description:
As a Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Working as part of a dynamic team to help meet customer needs and ensure product quality.
Emphasis: Constructing and executing material and device aging protocols under both real-time and accelerated aging conditions. - Actively engaging in the development and validation of new test methods.
- Providing quality assurance engineering support for marketed medical device products. This may include:
– Handling customer complaints
– Supporting stability studies
– Investigating issues and identifying root causes
– Working as a quality team member on continuous improvement and change-management projects - Working in compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and external regulations, supporting activities such as:
– Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
– Risk Management, including Post-Market Surveillance product support
– Health Hazard Evaluations
– Material Review Boards

- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to deliver results by prioritizing workloads, staying flexible, and acting with urgency.
- Previous experience in an FDA-regulated medical device environment.
- Strong attention to detail, along with curiosity and a willingness to question discrepancies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering diligent, concise, fact-based information to cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with basic statistics and familiarity with more advanced statistical concepts.
- This technical role requires one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, chemistry, or a related science field
OR - High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of combined experience in product, quality, engineering, and/or laboratory/technical roles in a private, public, government, or military environment.
